Watch the sunset - or the moon rise - while you work! This unique calendar app shows the current sky as four separate maps along the base of the screen, so you can instantly see whats visible in the sky! You can also change to sky views at dawn and dusk. Tap on any map to gain access to a planetarium program that reveals a full sky view showing major planets, stars and constellations.

From month view tap any day to reveal a timeline showing major astronomical events, including rise and set times of the planets. Tapping the moon image takes you to a current map of the moon with major features marked.

The app has all the features of the iPad Calendar, with extras such as moon phases, rise and set times, eclipses, conjunctions and meteor showers. The app is fully compatible with the iPad calendar, so that appointments and events can easily be transferred both ways.

The app also features 365 superb images taken by amateur astronomers, NASA and the Hubble Telescope, that can feature as background to the calendar pages or can be viewed on their own or saved to your photos. It’s worth having for the photos alone!

· Nightly moon phases on month view
